LINKS PLAYERS functions both as a national ministry and a collection of local Fellowships. For this reason, we maintain a typical Vision and Mission statement for the ministry as it operates centrally, and we promote the Links Player’s Mission (based on the L-I-N-K-S acronym).
The Links Player’s Mission is meant to be both the personal mission of all individuals who call themselves Links Players as well as the mission of Links Fellowships everywhere. Its five principles allow people of various church (and non-church) backgrounds to come together around the most important common ground that Scripture gives us for honoring Jesus and living in His kingdom.
ONE MESSAGE OF VICTORY
Since 1966, A.I.A. has committed to sharing a Victory beyond Competition that is found only in a relationship
with Jesus Christ. Athletes and coaches around the world who are experiencing this life-changing relationship are telling the story
of Jesus – to their teammates and fellow coaches, to hurting and needy people through their words and acts of compassion and kindness,
and to the millions of people through the media. Over 650 staff members and 7,500 volunteers in 94 countries boldly proclaim Jesus
Christ, deeply equip believers to lead and urgently mobilize ambassadors of Good News and Good Will in the fulfillment of the Great
Commission.
Christian Cultural Center is a fellowship of individuals united by a common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Founded in 1978 by Reverend
A. R. Bernard, Sr. and his wife Karen, CCC has grown from small beginnings to a current membership of over 30,000+.
CCC is composed
of people from diverse cultural backgrounds, experiences and walks of life; All of whom have made a public confession of their identification
with Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. All members believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testament, commonly known as
the Holy Bible, to be the sole source of faith and the absolute rule of conduct for human life. They have determined to build their
lives on Truth; the firmest and most stable of any foundation.
Each member subscribes to the belief that Jesus Christ is the only true
Savior. He is the Lord of life, and the only way a person can have eternal life is through being united with Jesus, in Spirit, by
repentance and faith. They also purpose to reach and teach others this fundamental truth.
All members understand that the purpose of
the local church is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the development, preservation and expression of the life of God in the believer
through instruction and opportunities for service. Members belong on the basis of corporate fellowship and mutual trust between one
another. That trust, which is the basis for all relationships, is a core value of this organization.
